Nudgee Beach
Off the leash:
Nudgee Beach is 20 km northeast of Brisbane City. There is an exit to the beach from the Gateway Motorway. The creek here appears to be clean. There is plenty of birds and a quite a few fishermen. Dogs are allowed off the leash at a small section of the beach. However, there is also a dog off leash park area with a few hurdles, tap water + bowls. You can even rinse your dog after it has had a swim. UBD Brisbane Map 111, P 18

Redcliffe Shire

Dogs are generally not allowed on beach areas in Redcliffe Shire. You may exercise dogs held on a leash on the beaches between the Woody Point Jetty and the Houghton Highway, the beach between Queens Beach north and Drury Point at Scarborough (opposite Phillip Street, and the beach opposite Jamieson Park and Endeavour Park, Scarborough.
If you want to let your dog enjoy some off-leash exercise, Redcliffe has a dedicated off leash area located at Kroll Gardens, Duffield Road, Clontarf.

Wellington Point
Nice little park area, where dogs are allowed on the leash except for weekends and public holidays. There are two boat ramps from which the dogs can have a good swim. At low tide it is possible to walk to one of the islands in Moreton Bay. The Beach is located about 30 minutes drive from Brisbane City.

Just a few kilometres north of Surfers Paradise at Labrador (Biggera Waters / Runaway Bay) there is a nice beach walkway, where you can take the dogs as long they are on a leash. UBD, Gold Coast section, Map 19, D 15

Bribie Island
 
Off a leash:
  • On the beach from the Red Beach car park to Woody Bay. There is access from Tully Street through Buckley's Hole Conservation Park.  It is just a short walk from the car park. I can recommend this beach for long walks.

  • In Cosmos Park on the corner of Sunderland Drive and Cosmos Avenue behind the Croquet Club.

On a leash:
  • On the beach from the south end of South Esplanade around the southern end of the island to Red Beach. All dogs are to be kept a minimum of 50m away from the Buckley's Hole Environmental Park Reserve at all times.
  • On the beach from Red Beach Car Park around to the Koolamarra pathway at the corner of Lowry and Benalong Streets, Woorim.
  • At the entrance to Woorim Beach at the northern end of North Street and from that point northwards to the 4WD access track.
  • On the beach north of Boronia Drive to the end of Sylvan Beach Esplanade.
  • Northern Solander Esplanade, Banksia Beach.

  • The mown parkland adjacent to the corner of Grout Street, bounded to the south by the drain and Rowe Street.
  • Walking track and grassed areas (excluding all playing or sports fields), from the Caboolture River walk bridge (Riverview Street), east along the land adjacent to the Caboolture River to Centenary Lakes.
  • Park adjacent to Bellmere Road and Wararba Creek specifically in the treed area.
