Brisbane doesn't really have any good
beaches. The waters are shallow and they are mainly mangrove beaches.
|
|
Off the leash:
Nudgee Beach is 20 km northeast of Brisbane City. There
is an exit to the beach from the Gateway Motorway. The creek here
appears to be clean. There is plenty of birds and a quite a few fishermen.
Dogs are allowed off the leash at a small section of the beach.
However, there is also a dog off leash park area with a few hurdles,
tap water + bowls. You can even rinse your dog after it has had a swim. UBD Brisbane Map 111, P 18
